Well done, Victor and thanks for coming to grips so fast with such a complex VET project. I was particularly impressed by your fresh strategic overview while also meeting the client’s strict terms of reference and deadlines. The contracting client, the Andean Development Corporation expressed its satisfaction with the project outcome.

Dr. Victor Del Rio has consulted with us at a high level, shown sound expertise and given us consistent and positive professional outcomes in service delivery to the Colombian Ministry of Education and the Andean Development Corporation (CAF) especially regarding Colombia’s technical education reform process. We greatly appreciated his sound strategic and analytical competencies in vocational education and training systems, and we intend to continue to work with him in the future.

“In May 2008, the Federal Government floated the possibility to have the $90M funding of the New Enterprise Incentive Scheme program (NEIS) either cancel or substantially reduced. This decision may have impacted thousands of staff members and unemployed people negatively. Faced with this potential funding crisis, the NEIS association requested the assistance of Dr. Victor Del Rio to developing and implementing strategies to avert this crisis. The NEIS association, in conjunction with Dr. Del Rio, produced within six weeks only, an economic and social submission that addressed the concerns of the Federal Government and highlighted the potential negative impacts of the proposed cuts on the Governments own social inclusion Agenda. Armed with this information our Association lobbied the Australian Government successfully to reverse this decision. Dr. Del Rio's participation was instrumental in our success. Victor's grasped the key and most complex issues very rapidly and with analytical precision researched and produced the papers that we required to navigate through these storming waters.”
Ariel Moses, Vice-President, NEIS Association and Manager of NEIS programs at Holmesglen Institute of TAFE.
